Carlos was born and raised in Detroit, Mi coming from Mexican parents. He, later on, went to Eastern Michigan University, majoring in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising and double minoring in Business and Art. Even though having a passion for fashion, Carlos quickly found his calling in veterinary medicine. He started his career as a Shelter Medicine Technician for the Michigan Humane Society, specializing in many aspects, ranging from physical and behavioral health of shelter animals.
In his free time, Carlos spends his time with his two rescue dogs Leo (Pitbull Poodle mix) and Mia (Yorkie). He strongly believes in adopting animals since many require homes.
